September Ministry Update
Hello faithful supporters!
I pray this update finds you well and in the service of our Lord. I wanted to take some time to update you on what we’ve been up to and what’s in the pipeline. As you know, our ministry is funded by the generous donations of people like you! Pastor Prisy Gets His Truck!
Pastor Prisy was one of our students at the Gateway Camp pastor Training in June of 2021 and a long-time friend of Tim and Margie Gandy. Pastor Prisy pastors three churches in the rural mountainous region of central Mexico. Until recently, Prisy had to travel to each church each Sunday by BICYCLE because he didn’t have a car.
Thanks to the generous gifts of our supporters, we were able to deliver a used truck to Pastor Prisy about a month ago! He was very grateful. Now his wife can travel with him as he builds disciples for the Kingdom. Thank you to everyone who gave to this special project over the past year.
New Publication Editions
We are constantly seeking ways to improve our publications and training materials, making them more affordable and usable for our students. We are very excited to have the latest edition of the 3x5 Bible Study Guide, the 3x5 Bible Study Guide for Beginners, and the Or-thot-om-eo Student Manuals ready for print! In fact, they are already getting used and distributed to Bible Students locally and in other states.
Upcoming Training Events
On October 8th Tim and I will be joining The Gates Community Church for a Leadership Camp where we will be giving leaders from 5 congregations some useful tools in their leadership toolbag. This first session will focus on the Or-thot-om-eo Bible Study training, equipping the leaders of tomorrow to skillfully wield the Sword of the Lord!
Continued Work on the App
The development of the App is taking longer than expected, but it is steadily coming along! Soon we will have an App with our Bible Study training in both major App Stores as well as a secure Android app which can be passed from phone to phone where there is no internet access! We are super excited about the project!
Growing Partnership with Blue Letter Bible
Though we’ve partnered with other Bible Software applications in the past such as Olive Tree, our partnership with Blue Letter Bible continues to grow! They are currently working actively to produce Spanish language resources for studying the Biblical Languages on their FREE app platforms. We’ve been able to work with BLB to develop this much-needed resource to serve the brothers and sisters in South and Central America. Continue to pray for this project to come to fruition.
