Week 11: Humanity’s Rebellion

Mar 10, 2026    Matt Parker

In today’s devotional, “The One Who Sits Above,” we explore Isaiah 40:21–23 and see the world from heaven’s perspective. While humanity builds its own “towers” of power and security, Scripture reminds us that God sits enthroned above the earth, and even the greatest rulers are like grasshoppers before Him.

Isaiah calls us to remember who truly holds authority. Empires rise and fall, but God’s sovereignty never fades. When we gain a proper view of God, our fears shrink and our trust shifts back to Him.

📖 Today’s Reading: Isaiah 40:21–23

🔑 Key Verse: “He reduces princes to nothing and makes judges of the earth like a wasteland.” (Isaiah 40:23)
