In Genesis 6:5–8, we see a God who is not indifferent to evil but deeply grieved by the violence and corruption that fractures what He loves. Yet in the darkness, mercy breaks through in one quiet line: “But Noah found favor with the LORD,” reminding us that God’s redemptive plan moves forward by grace, not human earning.
