Reading Plan Generator

Build date-agnostic reading plans for SubSplash from a passage range or a prepared Scripture list. Build up to 52 weeks per file. Each XML file contains only raw <plan> markup, ready to import.

Plan settings

Output contract: one <plan> root, one title, and reading entries with a calendar day number and one or more passages. SubSplash assigns the start date when the plan is deployed.

Series or plan title

Used in each exported plan title. Plan numbers are added automatically when there is more than one file.

Download file prefix

Use lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores for the cleanest filenames.

Reading source Split one passage range
Examples: Matthew 1:1-28:20, John 1-3, 1 Peter, or 1 Peter - 2 Peter. Use my pasted list
One reading day per line. Group passages for the same day with semicolons or |.

Passage range

Range splitting accepts verse ranges, chapter ranges, single books, and book-to-book ranges. It creates reference ranges only, not Bible text.

Include off-days in the exported markup. For pasted lists, use fewer files when the list is short (never add files).

Download an individual .xml file or all files in one ZIP. Each XML file is a separate import. Copy or select the complete XML from any card.
